FREEDOM SONG
When the world begins to change
You will hear the people sing
Songs for freedom
When the world begins to change
You will hear the people sing
Songs for justice
Free the Freedom fighters/3 times
Tino Rangatiratanga
When the jails open their doors
The people will take to the streets
walk with them
When we hear throughout the nation
This new song of liberation
The time is near
Free the Freedom fighters/3 times
Tino Rangatiratanga
When they see you free yourself
They will try to shut you down
Don’t you let them
When the world begins to change
the poor will rise again
We must join them

A brief poem to disturb the peace of the sleepy valley of Ruatoki

A BRIEF POEM
( to disturb the peace of the sleepy valley of Ruatoki)
i
My friend what can I say
I have a bone stuck in my throat
The ancestral calendar promised this things will pass a thousand moons ago
The flight of the tui breaks the silence in the valley
The crickets’ sing the song of the evening falling
Under the ancestral gaze of the elders that care for our dreams
They came with their machinery of drums and signs
To silence our village that fateful October 15th
Never forget that date
ii
What does this means?
Che Guevara died October 7th but in Bolivia
The twin towers were attacked on September 11th in NY
The Invasion of Ruatoki happened in October 15th
At The Ureweras
Bin Laden does not rime with Tame’s name
Do you get that Mrs Clark?
Ninjas, ninjas
Puppets dressed in black
Soldiers of the powerful judge of the share market
They came without permission into sacred land
Their children will be marked by this heresy
They violated Tuhoe’s land once again
And now they want us to forget this offence?
You’re wrong again!!
iii
Supreme head of the sis
Fuck u !!
iv
Two hunters from Auckland
Trampled over a training camp
Yeah Right!!
V
Stuff your mikes up Ur ass
Introduce your satellites in your mamas orifice
And see
who is coming now!!
vi
Application for a Passport of the Independent Nation of Tuhoe
Required: Full whakapapa
Family lineage
Aspirations before positions
Site of the stolen land
Reminder in Place
And No photographs permitted
vii
National Flag
Each family will design a family flag
The flag will identify the hapu
The sacred mountain and the river
The flag will fly at the family marae
At the time of the Independence celebrations.
viii
The Council of Kaumatua
Will sign the Order
For which the Independent Nation of Tuhoe
Nominates his First Head of Government;
Guess his name!!
ix
Oh Te Kooti
Oh Rua Kenana
The same is happening again !!
x
First there was destitution
Then they lied and lied and lied
Then they tried to forget
And later they denied it
BUT
the dream was born
and then the action took place
(the dream is the seed and the action the water that feeds it)
And so,the dream becomes a reality
And the reality is liberation.
xi
The mokopuna said…
-the ninjas stormed the school bus
And pointed guns at us-
The old kuia said
-the ninjas closed the road
And photograph me and my grandson
in front of our car-
The wahine said
-during the raids
The cops insulted us and push us around-
But the fat guy in his ivory tower
Denied it all
-Its all part of the conspiracy
The terrorist have arrived!!-he screamed
Showering with saliva all over his shining desk
-Wait until you have all the facts,
Said channel 1
Will you believe any of them now??
This is Aotearoa today
This is the gospel of truth
Please lord remember those who lied
When they come in front of you
On judgement day!!
xii
TSA TSA how many errors will be committed in your name?
What is TSA stands for?
Traditional Supreme authority?
Tames’ Salvation Army?
A Local boyscout group?
Or its the liberation army?
When you decide please mark your preference
But do not signed
They may suspect of you too.

Primero;
escampar y quedara olor a tierra mojada

EPITAH FOR SEPTEMBER

Here from the comfortableness of my life
Where all and nothing have a self-centered sense
Marginalization of the risks and the fears
I sing this sad and broken song
A song for the rivers of blood
A song for the unknown dead
A song for the missing bodies
A song for your tears
My tears and those I did not cry
The silence
What a loud silence amidst the rubble
What a smell is coming from the fires
Blood on the pavement
Papers floating in the street
And from the charred remains of life
An epitaph for September has come
Will you remember today?
Many years from now
Will you still cry or will the river of your tears be dried
When you breathe in the fresh air of September
And feel the soft cold breeze of spring
Will the flowers remind you of the broken parts?
The hunting of the almighty echoes of Jericho
The crucifixion of the thousand ones
Yes I remember today and I sing this sad broken song
For the dead of 11th September

PROGRAMME OF LOVE

On the
on the
computerised landscape
computerised
your eyes

it's nothing more
than
two numbers
frozen
televised
inorganic.
With your silence
ELECTRONIC SILENCE
You and I

when I see U

DISPARITIES

That evening in the rocks
a taste of spring and sex
Someone calls you
before I return
I hope they can save you
because I am coming.
There was a full moon
and you were so distant
from my arms
as it was allowed
by international standars.
But when you do understand
that from me
there is no escape
I am like a shadow
ill intentioned.
Fortunately
I never herad from you anymore
until I met your mother in the street
and she told me that
you were returning
I dont know I said
changing the subject.
Any similarity with reality
is purely coincidental
But never unexpected.

LETTER TO REMEMBER

LETTER TO REMEMBER
There is so much to take into account
so many things to consider
especially if you dream with flying penises.
You must open the windows of your mind
Play with your body
and let the long branches of yearning
find the nest of yourself.
Distance is like a hanging bridge
when behind are blue doves flying around
the house of your feelings.
I tell you, I speak to you, I talk to you in whispers
I threaten you
no one plays with me,
not even when someone says the last train
is only the first one.
I know that you have a thirsty tongue
a hungry tongue
an anxious tongue
I have find you after the ancient time,
the pale eye, the chloroform.
Do not let the roots growing in your legs frighten you.
Come, follow me, and climb over me without anybody's help.
Let me be your protection from celestial attacks.
Come
crucify yourself over me
give me the mark of these years
make the horizon a river that touches your body.
Let me sail through you
let me travel through the rivers produced by you,
the Amazons that is born in your ancestral uterus,
our common mother.
Let me be the crazy vessel
that falls into smiling cascades
There is so much to take into account
so many things to consider
especially if you dream with flying penises.
You must open the windows of your mind
Play with your body
and let the long branches of yearning

Let me be the crazy vessel
that falls into smiling cascades
let me mark this instant.
Do not forget
do nnot forget me
dont let forgetfulness take hold of you
because it will betray you later.
Passion is an arrow shot
at the base of one's brain
an arrow thrown by a naked godness
full of orgasms
Let me add a final warning
dont pretend not to recognise me
the next time I see you
I will speak to you without a voice
I will tell you all without words
I will open you like a mad surgeon
and you, a ripe fruit
and I will eat you
enjoying all the fresh juices of you.
TU E SERVANT

DOMESTIC DECLARATION
(TU E SERVANT)
All revolution begins at home
for that reason it is
that now I impose a curfew
No one leaves without my permission
keep an eye that I don't hear you
talking with the neighbours
conspiring against me .
It is forbidden to mention the verb love
the verb care
the verb pain.
Everything has a dangerous overtone
I hope that i never see you looking at someone else
Only I am your only owner,
it is that clear?

HOMICIDAL CUISINE

EXPLANATORY RECIPE FOR A COOKING POEM
The last scream was a shout in silence
which the cooks would not have heard
they were serving the flavours of spices and peppers
that they were shaking the pieces at random.
The kitchen was their last refuge
the last stop in that trip
while the soup was boiling among waters and colours
the celery and the tomatoe looked at each other.
Nobody took into account the possible suffering
of the chopped garlic cooked in oil
nor the horrible torture of the innocent onion
which was being chopped into rings.
No surely, are saying these sad cooks
fire is deadly and the air is serene
through these sincere and simple hands
the final destiny of the species goes
Don't complain nor accuse in vain
we are only fulfilling the sad role
nobody hates that individual garlic
it's only the force obligation of duty.

IN DEFENCE OF BUSINESS

IN DEFENSE OF BUSINESS
He got his hands covered in blood
his chest covered in medals
and his conscience in injustices
but don't worry
in business we're all friends.
He planted dead children in our nightmares
increase nagging hunger in the stomach of the poor
but don't worry
in business we're all friends.
He filled the cages brimful
of corpses of the innocent
filled the heavens brimful
of the echoes of torture
insulted women
but don't worry
in business we're all friends.
Finally
he washed his hands put on the banner
presided at receptions
and read out speeches
because in business
him and us are friends.

A NIGHTMARE OF SMILES

A NIGHTMARE OF SMILES
I'm dreaming
that I smile with three jaws
that I greet you with three hands
that I submit to questions without answers
that, by watching the corn shaking in my plate
I can predict a tidal wave
in the mountain range.
I'm dreaming
that answers outnumber questions
and that with a mere five words
I can terrify the public.

BEHAVIOUR

BEHAVIOUR
They are all speaking, announcing, proclaiming, scaring,
predicting, chasing, seeking, worrying,
yearning, sounding, commercialising, selling,
exchanging, charging, buying, exploiting, working,
ordering, believing, following, doing, planting,
harvesting, looking, feeling, touching, smelling,
foreboding, imagining, exaggerating, promising,
idealizing, fearing ,loving, hating, guessing, supposing and hoping.
And when the bomb falls, it will
smash, shatter, annihilate, destroy, overwhelm, atomise,
disintegrate, grind, pulverise, fragment, shrink, diminish,
minimise, flatten, burn, carbonise, smoulder, kill, eliminate,
assassinate, end, forbid.
That's why I prefer to
fight it, struggle against it,
and attack it to death.

HUMBLE PRAYER

BELOVED FATHER
Almighty god of the coca cola
distributor of market economy
creator of plots and coup d'etat
maker of fashion and segregation
great godfather of the mafia
upholder of the empire of the dollar
please listen
to our humble proletarian prayer.
Leave aside your nuclear projects
do not threaten us with your bombs,
do not drop your bomb on us,
don not let them sail across the seas,
do not invade countries,
do not distribute poverty
do not start wars
do not unleash the end of everything.
Sovereign to Superman and the CIA
god to the generals and the rich
master of the democratic paradise
be kind enough to order your own death.
